The Eyes, Face, Mouth, Arms, Hands, legs? If you answered yes to any of these areas of the body you would be wrong. It is true these areas do give us a wealth of information when taken in the context of the situation you are in and are decoded properly. The most accurate area of the body is the Feet Why is that? Well from an early age we have taught to mask how we really feel and to mask our face, I can remember being told when you see Uncle so and so make sure you give him a big hug and smile, even if I could not stand him, which was the case. Many different Asian cultures will have a very stoic and unemotional look on their faces when they are feeling displeased or unhappy with you so as not to insult you in anyway and to mask their true emotions. When we talk about the feet we must go back to our Limbic Brain and remember the Limbic Brain is responsible for our survival and to keep us safe and away from danger. Think about walking to the edge of a cliff without a guard or railing, you will only go so far before your Limbic Brain kicks in and stops you from going any further, the Freeze Response and very quickly after the Freeze Response You will step back a little, the Flight Response. People can mask their face, keeps their hands still and mask many parts of their body. They never think about their feet and what their feet are expressing in real time. When couples are in harmony with each other their feet will be pointing towards each other, when in disagreement or discomfort they will point away. The same holds very true when couples are not getting along, their feet will not touch each others feet. Many times I have been people watching and see two people sitting at a table talking, I do not know if they are involved with each other, I always will look at their feet, many times their feet are touching each others feet which tells me they have a very close relationship. You will never let anyone touch your feet that you do not like or not having a close relationship with. If you and someone is having a conversation and a third person comes over to get involved in the conversation, notice your feet, or more importantly the third person should notice your feet. If you do not want them involved in your conversation your feet will not point in their direction. Your feet will point to the person you are talking to and you will only turn at the waist towards the third person. When you welcome the third person both of you will turn a foot in their direction making a triangle. When you are having a conversation with someone and it becomes uncomfortable or you have said something that they have taken offense to they will shift a foot in an other direction, this is telling you they want to leave or escape from you. They will point a foot in the direction they want to go. When people are happy and in a good mood you will see clusters of foot behavior, tips of their feet will go up, when a woman is comfortable and in a flirtatious mood she will dangle her shoe on the tips of her foot. A woman will never do this Tell when she feels uneasy or uncomfortable in any way. What you may see is her feet wrapped around each other, or hooked around the legs of the chair. When people are frustrated or impatient you will see them bouncing their feet, they are expressing displeasure and stating Lets get on with it Most importantly when you are talking and having a serious conversation with someone and they move their feet back or step back when making a statement that is telling me they are distancing themselves from their own words, the Flight Response Not a very good sign. So there is a wealth of accurate information that can be decoded from foot behavior that will tell you in real time what a person is, Thinking, Feeling or Intending only if you are a competent observer of your Environment.
