Spencers Mission Letter - Hello my wonderful family! I hope all is going well and everyone is happy! The picture of Thanksgiving looked fun and exciting!! Everyone just looks so good. Well, this week was a very interesting one for me!! I think its still great, but it was funny!! To start off the week I got a call from the Mission Office saying that I had gotten a speeding ticket! hahah All good though!! Then as the week continued, my bike got stolen!!! hahahahha It was just one of those weeks that the adversary was throwing everything he could at me! Its all good. I kept a good spirit and we continued! The work went really well. We found new people to teach and we kept teaching the people we had been teaching!! Our Investigators are really coming along and wanting to come unto Christ!! They are Great!! Today was transfers! I was transferred down to my first area in the Gold Coast!! I have now been in this area 3 times on my mission! There has to be something I have just not figured out down here! hahah Thats ok though! I know that God has a plan for me and that there is a reason for all things! My new companion is Elder Santa Anna. We were in the MTC at the same time, so I think it will be good fun! It was really hard to say goodbye to the people that I was working with. I really came to love them so much. Its funny as my mission goes on and on my love for people grows. The reason why I teach things changes. I never knew I could love people so much and open my heart to them so much! The last transfer I learned so many new things and I feel like I really grew as a person. I came to feel the Saviors love for me and for the people I was serving. Is it not amazing that life is so short and time goes so fast? Sometimes you just have to stop and take it all in. As I come to know my Savior more and more, the desire grows and grows. I pray that this Christmas we might focus on what truly is the meaning. The meaning being The Birth of our Savior, the person that God sent for us so that we might return to him and live in all happiness! I love you all so much!!! I really do!! I pray for your safety and that we might have experiences to help us grow together!!!! Love, Elder Tribe
