Here some tips to share. 1) Be realistic - Reuse home decorative items (that are in good condition) - Before stepping out of the house to purchase items for Hari Raya, prepare a checklist with items that you require and those that are available at home. - Spend within your budget by setting a spending limit. 2) Ask Yourself. - "Do you really need to purchase this item?" - Comparing prices first, purchase items that are being offered at the cheapest price. - Make purchase when traders reduce the price of goods to finish their stock before Hari Raya. (you’ll get cheaper prices). 3) Not All ITEMS Need To Be Replaced. - Last year decorative items could be used this year too. - Arrangement of furniture might help in giving greater view and space. - If you spend your money quickly, you may not have sufficient funds before you get your next month’s salary. 4) Avoid Using Credit card to Withdraw Cash. - When consumers run out of cash, they tend to withdraw their money using credit. This is a very bad habit and should not be encouraged at all.
