Spent 4 days at Discovery Camp. Life changing for so many. Hearts healed, emotional wounds healed, chains and bandages gone, learned to worship, ALL Teenagers and I mean ALL received The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit! This has never happened. First time in 20 years of taking kids to camp. Pretty exciting!! So now rest comes into play. When I left to take the kids to camp for four days, I had strep throat and a fever, a horrible sunburn, I stumped my large toe nail at camp and yet still walked 5 miles or more a day in 100 degree weather, got sunburned again, took my 7 year old with us (extra responsibility) plus other peoples teens so GOD could heal them and change them. So if you think my job is easy or that I am having fun at camp.....well, I have big shoes to fill. I am thankful for my husband, our leaders Marvin Johnsonand Sarai Solanzo at camp. I appreciate their help! At the end of the week on the way home, its all worth it to see hearts change and lives moved. Search and Rescue complete, thanks to The Holy Spirit!! Now in resting mode! I cant get enough sleep! LOL (P.S. Roland and I celebrate 19 years of marriage in a couple of days.....just think he has been taking kids to camp since he was 20 years old and he is 45!! GOD bless this man! HE has lots of rewards in Heaven. ;))
