Spent most of today being lazy in my sweats thinking about the past year...the ups...the downs..the good...the bad...the finds...the losses. Seems like a blur. But it was all part of a rewarding life in Christ...and Ive learned to trust in Him more and more in His timing and wisdom through both good and bad times. I was blessed with a beautiful woman named Christine who I adore. I have a healthy family with some who have overcame some illnesses that could have taken them from us. I have an awesome second family in Covenant M/M who Ive grown closer with in the past year. And Ive also had some heartache with the passing of one of the closest friends Ive ever had. But even in that I still find some comfort from this last voicemail I ever had from him 3 days before his death because in it he said he had become closer to God. So I know he is with Jesus now...I have no doubts at all about that. I just wish I could have talked to him one last time because I really miss my bro. I tried calling him back an hour after I got this voicemail but I learned he never got it because someone erased it while he was taking a nap. But anyways..I really do have a lot to be grateful for. Well see what this new year brings...whether its good or bad...I can get through it as long as I keep my eyes on Christ. We all can! Fidem
