Spent some time with a local bowyer today. He doesnt make large amounts of bows now. His place is like a museum of archery beauty. Elmer Patton of Crow Creek Bows is a true master bowyer and a great guy to hang out with. He was well known for quite a while, but slowed down and people (except locals) seem to have forgotten him. He hasnt been able to shoot due to health for 15 years and still makes a bow that is beautiful and hangs with anything out there in performance. I know where my next bow is coming from.
