Spent the day with my mom yesterday. She took me to Medinas for a birthday brunch and then we walked around Gastown and had coffee outside in the sunshine. Great day... *until*.. A fight broke out at the bus stop. Yes, and of course my mom had to put a stop to it. OH BOY.. Two older guys one drunk the other belligerent started yelling and the one guy was taking pot shots at the drunk guy. The bus stop was crowed with several people waiting to take a multitude of busses that stopped there. Not one person said anything at all to the two rebel rousers.. except my mom. She yelled very loudly, Dont you hit him it actually calmed the guy down and he stopped swinging. She tried very hard to get the drunk guy to leave before he got hit again but he was in it for the long haul and kept pestering the guy that hit him. Alas our bus came, we boarded and bit farewell to the two MMA wannabes. Ahhh, and another eventful day with mom.
