Spent the republic day at a model village called Punsari near Ahmedabad, India. The photos are from the Sarpanch (head) of the village. The whole village gets RO water supplied at Rs4/20ltrs The whole village has WiFi connectivity and everyone has a smart phone. All the streets are CCTV monitored (screen in Sarpanchs office) There is a mic in the office with speakers all around the village to make public announcements Theres a mobile library There are big dustbins outside every home and the village is epic and span.. There are 5 high schools for 6000 people and each child goes to school. There is 24hrs electricity And the motive is to prevent migration to cities.. Look forward to a bright future!!
