Spent today wandering around Canyonlands Natl Park -- just 20 miles from Arches -- oohing and aahing and trying to figure out how to fit it all into that little tiny viewfinder on my camera. Fortunately, Apple iPhones have a handy Panorama app that lets you take it all in. The last pic here was truly one of those OMG moments that we almost missed. The sky had been overcast all day but we we decided to stay for the sunset. The sun disappeared without much fanfare and we got in the car to leave. As we were driving out we glanced back, pulled a quick U-turn and hopped out. The sky was on fire for nearly ten minutes! We froze our butts, but it was worth it.
