Spent yesterday loading and then rigging the full PA and Lighting system with Brian Glover over at Addingham for the TdeF.....got another full day of it today setting up back line and FOH. Looks like Ill be roughing it in the back of the van for one if not two nights though, roads in and out of Addingham and Ilkley are virtually all being closed from 5am tomorrow morning so the whole area is becoming a no-drive zone. Leeds Metropolitan University are sending 6 students, part of the curriculum is festival work and its down to yours truly tomorrow to give them tuition in lighting, sound and stage management while Brian sets up and operates PA and Lighting for another festival over at Holygarth for the Ilkley leg of the race. Must remember to take some insect repellant, and the travel kettle.. The weather forecast for today and early tomorrow doesnt look too good but it looks like we could be OK for the two main event days....fingers crossed.
