Split Jerk PR. After the second attempt of 14.1 yesterday and a classic CrossFit endurance burner last night (For time - 150 squats, 125 situps, 100 pushups, 75 box jumps, 50 ring rows, 25 shuttle runs) my lower back was feeling a little tight today so I wasnt going to train. Then in walks Dan who convinces me to work up to a heavy split jerk off of the new jerk blocks (thanks Dougy) with him. Who am I to say no to some heavy lifting. This is me hitting a new split jerk PR of 130kgs. Its not pretty. Its not perfect. Its not solid. But I got it there. Now to hit the 130kg clean (or the 140kg jerk).
