Spoke to some of our GESSL girls this morning...although facing the uncertainty as to when school will commence again, they sounded happy and hopeful all the same...Josephine was glad to share that her results came out and she was 3rd of her class...Congratulations you little star! Gladys, our lovely intern, is currently in Port Loko doing Ebola Sensitisation as part of her secondary school team...Good on you girl! Keep up the good work! Our saddest news is that one of our girls lost her mother and for that we shall keep her in our prayers and we hope you all do too!! It is a difficult time for Sierra Leoneans of all ages...but the active young doing their best at home and in their community is just the silver lining of this whole situation....proud of you all, our future generation :)
