Spoke to this young man coming off the lift at work today and he mentioned he heard that I was good with words. I laughed and inserted a joke. But this young man was consumed with fear of not moving up in the company. I had to apologize for dashing off, but I had to attend this meeting. This is for you #Mike. Well Chat soon God willing. The Graveyard. Sometimes when things in our lives arent going well we have a tendacy to give in to that situation. And when we give in to the enormity of our situations we are openly expressing to God, and to the rest of the world that we consider ourselves as rusted parts that operate in this machine called life. Life knocks you down sometimes. So what? You get back up and try it again. There are graveyards filled with people whove died because they believed that after their first failure life wouldnt afford them another shot at the title, they were devoured by fear. One of my favorite motivational speakers, Les Brown, said that the graveyard is the wealthiest place in the world. In the graveyard you will find hopes and dreams that were never acted upon. God doesnt create failures, the human mind does. Get your butt off the ground and master your situation. DO NOT WAIT FOR YOUR SITUATION TO MASTER YOU! If you dont, someone will be walking up to your headstone one day and placing a reef on #your hopes and dreams, too.
