Evan Turner has a career .430 FG%; hes shooting .509 from the field this year. Spencer Hawes has a career .469 FG%; hes shooting a ridiculous .649 this season. And the list goes on and on. Golden State is in a very similar position as well. Theyve taken less than 77 attempts from the field in two games this year which indicates that theyre not getting a lot of possessions. Expect a decrease in scoring from the Warriors as well. The last four meetings between these two teams had totals of 191, 188.5, 199.5, and 197.5. Not only is this total severely inflated; its inflated by more than 10 points. The under is 7-1 in the Warriors last 8 games playing on 1 days rest. Brandon Bass had 17 points and nine rebounds while Vitor Faverani added 12 points and 18 rebounds in the loss. The Memphis Grizzlies (1-2) come off a loss as well, a 111-109 setback to the Dallas Mavericks. Mike Conley had 24 points and eight assists while Marc Gasol added 23 points and five rebounds in the loss. The Grizzlies allowed 111 points in the loss to the Dallas Mavericks and for a team that considers itself one of the best defenses in the league you would expect the team to really tighten things up here. The Grizzlies have allowed over 100 points in all three games but those were against much better teams than the struggling Celtics. They come in on two days rest having last played on Friday, while this will be the 3rd game in 4 nights for the Rockets. Getting two days to prepare for Houston is pretty big. The Rockets are one of the more tough teams to prepare for due to their versatility offensively. We really like the Clippers having DeAndre Jordan, who can match up with Dwight Howard about as well as anyone in the league. Houston comes in overvalued due to its 3-0 start that has come against a pretty soft schedule. It has home wins over Charlotte and Dallas, as well as a road win at Utah thus far. Los Angeles 126-115 home win over Golden State was impressive to say the least. We look for a similar result tonight. The Clippers have won five of the last six meetings in this series. Plays on favourites of 3.5 to 9.5 points (LA CLIPPERS) - off 2 consecutive wins against division rivals are 34-11 (75.6%) ATS over the last five seasons.
