Sport: Ice Hockey Market: Tampa Bay Lightning @ San Jose Sharks Pick: Sharks Win & Sharks -1 ½ goals Odds: $1.52 & $2.60 Agency: Centrebet Wager: 3 Units & 1 Unit Game Time: 2:30pm AEDT Analysis: The Tampa Bay Lightning (14-7) looks to bounce back off a 2-5 loss at the LA Kings. Valteri Filpula and Victor Hedman scored goals for Tampa Bay. Ben Bishop made 26 saves on 31 shots. The San Jose Sharks (13-3-5) look to bounce back off its worst loss of the season, a 1-5 beat down at the hands at the Blackhawks on the road. Anti Niemi made 22 saves in a losing effort. It was not surprising the Sharks lost their last game of the road trip to arguably the best team in the Western Conference. We expect the Sharks, who are 8-2-3 at home this season to get a win here. Note the Lightning is just 6-5 on the road this season. Tampa Bay has lost two in a row and it won’t be easy to be a top team in the west in their barn without Steven Stamkos. Keep an eye out for Logan Couture who has four goals in three career meetings, while Patrick Marleau has three and five assists in his last five games against the Lightning. The Lightning have been outscored 22-6 during a four-game losing streak in San Jose since their last win there March 24, 2003. Take the Sharks to win for 3 units and -1 ½ goals for 1 unit as the value. Sport: Ice Hockey Market: Buffalo Sabres @ Philadelphia Flyers Pick: Total OVER 5 goals Odds: $1.91 Agency: Centrebet Wager: 3 Units Game Time: 11:00am AEDT Analysis: The Buffalo Sabres (5-17-1) to bounce back off a 1-4 loss at home to the St. Louis Blues. Tyler Ennis scored the lone goal for the Sabres. Ryan Miller made 27 saves on 31 shots. The Philadelphia Flyers (8-10-2) stayed hot after a 5-2 win at home over the Ottawa Senators. Kimmo Timonen had three points and Claude Giroux added a goal in the win. The Flyers have now won four there last five games and are certainly headed in the right direction after an awful start. The Sabres are one of the worst teams at keeping the puck out of their own net, giving opponents and average of 3.1 a game. With the Flyers coming on offensively and the Sabres looking to bounce back after scoring just one goal, look for enough total goals to go “over” the line. Take the OVER 5 goals here for 3 units. #EasyMoney
