Sports Illustrated is sinking to new all time low. Their "investigative" reporting was done in part by a known liar and shady reporter at best. "Mr. Evans attended Galveston College for a short time before getting a job at the Houston Chronicle. When inaccuracies in his resume were discovered, he quietly left the Chronicle for a role at the NYT office in Houston. With these new additions to his resume he was able to get a job as a sportswriter at Fox Sports. A confidant of Thayer says that he was told that there is nothing illegal in accepting money from alumni of one school to write articles that portray either players or other schools as dirty. "You just have to be vague enough to avoid slander and libel charges." OSU fans need to boycott SI and recognize it for what it is. TMZ reporting and a witch hunt that is good for business...nevermind the truth or who it hurts.
