Spotted!!! Guelph Independent Living is an organization where Attendant Service Workers come into our home and help us with all our acts of daily living or where we need it..They are the kindness, caring and most loving sensitive people you will ever meet! Part of my care tonight was particularly embarrassing to me, where tears were beginning to run down my face, this staff distracted me, starting with a soft hum and within a few minutes got me chuckling as I whipped away my tears away..I was feeling such gratitude, she must of sensed it as we danced and she off to help another client! The heart of these workers is so selfless and eager to help and sensitive to our needs and feelings that we can walk taller and their encouragement is oxygen to the soul! Believe me they work so hard , sometimes missing their breaks if a call comes in.. they always walk in with a warm smile on their face asking how they can help. And then take the time to help us with the patience of Job! (from the Bible, that guy had so much patience , more than you can imagine!) I have such love for them all ..it is so hard for me to contain it.. so I thought sharing it will help me spill my cup that is overflowing in it and gratitude..If I could Id dance forever.. they always put a song in my heart! I love you all so much.. so much more than youll ever know! Bless you GIL workers! You make huge difference in my life and I have more to give back to the world because I feel good about myself, that I couldnt if I was feeling bad about myself!
