Spreading Joy Column August 7th 2014 My Old Friend This beautiful soul Panache Desai has erupted an earth quake within me. I first saw him on Super Soul Sunday last week and I have been intrigued and drawn to him since. I cannot thank Oprah enough for always hosting such thought provoking riveting guests. They always illuminate my Sundays, filling me with gratitude for an inspirational week of blessings and delights ahead. This beautiful calm, perfectly assured man, with the quick sense of humor enabled me to look at myself in a completely different light. I’ve come to realize with each passing day that I am not on a journey to find my purpose like I once thought, I now understand I am on a journey to remember who I always was, and Mr. Desai is my old friend who is here to help remind me of that. I feel an enormous sense of complete love when I hear him speak. I feel this throughout my entire being, coupled with a feeling that I am surrounded by a pure vibrancy from the supportive loving hands of the Universe. Even when I have felt my most deeply sad, I know that it is only temporary when I chose to remember that that is not my truth. When I have felt most alone, and lost for even a split second, I know that if I chose to shift my perspective and come back into alignment with the divine then all is well. I am Free, I Loved. Something that he said that truly caught my attention during an interview with Jennifer Mclean from Healing with the Masters, was that when asked by Jennifer what is your title he replied “I really don’t have a title, I always say to people, I am just an old friend you lost a long time ago, to remind you of your magnificence.” “Really in essence my role is to dissolve all of the titles and to end the distance between you and your own divine self, so that you can be empowered in the knowledge that you are an infinite being with an infinite potential” He explains that his direct experience with the divine “was an experience of an Infinite Ocean of energy with no beginning and no end, and for him it was a brilliant golden color almost like a white light and the feeling associated with it was just love, there was no judgement, no criticism, and nothing to attain, there was nothing to become, he was just loved completely for the creation that he is.” Now that knocked my socks off!! To hear about such a deeply profound experience was awe inspiring. Panache goes on to say in the interview with Jennifer, “in the divine realm there is no judgement, we as human beings have judged ourselves, from day one we are conditioned out of our magnificence. We as humans judge ourselves when we experience feelings such as anger, because it is thought to be bad energy, when in fact it is just all energy, it isn’t bad, and when we don’t stay in the flow of the energy and repress it, it forms vibrational density. So what happens is when those energies are not experienced they begin to solidify and begin to form weight in the body. He says that his role is to lovingly dissolve this density so that people can access their natural state.” That one statement gave me goose bumps all over. I have said for what feels like eons that I wish I had known all of this when I was a child. I realize now that that is a futile statement, and it is far more important for me to focus on the NOW moment and stop wishing for what could have been. For the gifts of Knowing what I know now, are far greater than I ever thought possible, and I now have the tools to make everything possible.
