Spring is in the air . . . As our dog Ally and I were pounding - TopicsExpress

Spring is in the air . . . As our dog Ally and I were pounding the same thoroughfares leading to the park I noticed the green foliage and pink flowers of the cherry blossoms and I can alos hear the birds symphony. The days are long, and the sun is shining brightly up in that blue horizon. No doubt spring is in the air. I can feel it, I am living it now. I just love this time of year. Spring gives the cue, it is a time for growth and re-awakening after a long cold winter. The “random” thoughts going through my head is centered around how I can come up with better thoughts and ideas. This spring shouldn’t just be a time for flowers to reach their full potential; we should take their cue that it is our time to rise up. With this season the first song in my mind is “Feeling Good.” My goodness it’s so time relevant and I am sure you can all relate knowing well that it is sung by the artist fo this generation, Michael Buble. Let’s all sing together to welcome spring time . . . Birds flying high You know how I feel Sun in the sky You know how I feel Breeze driftin on by You know how I feel Its a new dawn Its a new day Its a new life For me And Im feeling good Fish in the sea You know how I feel River running free You know how I feel Blossom on a tree You know how I feel Its a new dawn Its a new day Its a new life For me And Im feeling good Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, dont you know Butterflies all havin fun you know what I mean Sleep in peace when day is done Thats what I mean And this old world is a new world And a bold world For me For me Stars when you shine You know how I feel Scent of the pine You know how I feel Oh freedom is mine And I know how I feel Its a new dawn Its a new day Its a new life Its a new dawn Its a new day Its a new life Its a new dawn Its a new day Its a new life Its a new life For me For me Im feeling good I feel so good I feel so good Well, folks now that spring is in the air let’s savor every moment of each passing day just as the essay below is messaging you/us . . . “Embrace this day, this moment, this life, and with it, make joy. Feel and fully experience the reality of what is, and in the midst of it, make joy. No matter how much or how little joy you’ve known in the past, now is your opportunity to make more. Focus on how good it is to simply be, and let pure, unconditional joy flow from your awareness. Though you have pains and problems and challenges, you also have the good fortune of being able to make joy. With life as it is, from where you are, with what you have, make joy. There is no need to fight or run away, to feel bitter or to make excuses, to give up, to back down, or to fall into a negative mindset. You have life, and you always have the ability to make joy. Smile, and warm the world around you. Breathe deeply, gently, and peacefully feel the miracle of your own existence. Live life as it comes. And with it, every bit of it, make joy.” Love these quotes about springtime . . . “And Spring arose on the garden fair, Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere; And each flower and herb on Earths dark breast rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.” Percy Bysshe Shelley “Spring is natures way of saying, Lets party! Robin Hayley Williams An optimist is the human personification of spring.” Susan Bissonette “Life isn’t about finding yourself. It’s about creating yourself.” ~George Bernard Shaw “The beautiful Spring came; and when nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.” Harriet Ann Jacobs “Spring shows what God can do to a drab and dirty world.” Virgil Kraft May this season and year ahead bring you much peace, joy, beauty and love! Happy Spring – Happy Renewal.” Cheers! Joegar
