Springhill Care Home has had a long tradition of musical entertainment. On Friday mornings in our Oakhill lounge some of our residents, families and friends gather together with Hillary Wood and the lifestyle team as part of an exciting musical venture which is called singing for the brain. Every week Hillary continues to gather information about their hobbies, likes and past work activities and assists those participating to remember links from the past and turn these into music and songs. In this video we can see Hillary and our residents enjoying a musical Friday morning of singing! All together now ‘you are my sunshine, my only sunshine……..’
