Squaw / Alpine Meadows Privileges: Yes! Sierra employees will have complimentary skiing/riding privileges at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. This is a great opportunity for Sierra at Tahoe employees in good standing, in addition to your skiing/riding privileges at Sierra. Please note, this privilege does not extend to dependents or volunteers. So here’s how it works: • Eligibility – All active employees in good standing are eligible to participate. (i.e. If your riding privileges are suspended here at Sierra, they are also suspended there.) • Getting Your Ticket – Pick up a signed & dated introduction letter from Employee Services. Take this along with your Sierra Employee Pass to the pass office at Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows. They will issue you a ticket valid for both resorts. • Dates - This benefit is valid Sunday-Friday through March 1, 2015, then 7 days/week March 2nd through the end of the operating season for Sierra-at-Tahoe. Excluded days include December 26-31, January 17-18, and February 14-15. • Respect Gets Respect – When visiting Squaw or Alpine, please treat the resort and employees with the same level of respect you would here at Sierra. Follow the rules and posted signs. Any misconduct over there may result in not-so-pleasant action being taken here. (i.e. If you get your pass suspended there, it will also be so here.) Use good judgment so we don’t have to take disciplinary action, or worse yet, say goodbye to you. • Fraudulent Use – As much as you love your friends, please keep this privilege to yourself. Any employee reasonably determined to have fraudulently sold, transferred or given their privilege to someone else will be reported back to his/her home resort and will be terminated without exception. The resort may also choose to prosecute. • Ending of Employment – When your employment ends, your skiing/riding privileges also end. Squaw and Alpine will receive daily updates of employee pass status to alleviate any questions.
