Sr. HSE Officer: Key Tasks and Duties Functional and Technical. Develop and review all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSEMS. Conduct risk assessments on all FSC facilities and provide risk mitigation measures. Provide HSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed corrective action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation. Investigate the root cause HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers, and contractors and report the result to the HSE unit head, assist in the preparation and presentation of field HSE meetings. Coordinates, monitor and analyse the investigation of accidents in addition to the HSE reporting system . Conducts regular inspection for all FSC facilities, sites and subcontractors where applicable. Conduct audits for FSC divisions and subcontractors . Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans. Conduct drills and respond to emergencies. Reporting monthly statistics reports. Maintains high level of awareness through the delivery of effective educational and training programmes. Gathering and monitoring data in energy consumption, water consumption, paper consumption, emissions and different kinds of waste as applicable and playing effective role in enhancing energy and water conservation culture. Assists in an advisory capacity in the disposal of wastes and promoting environmental friendly waste management practice. Environmental sampling as part of monitoring the health and safety of the working environment: potable water sampling, noise survey, dust sampling and atmospheric testing. Coordinates internal, external and joint awareness campaigns. Miscellaneous Attend assigned meetings, committee meetings and conferences, as required. Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth. Maintain a good relationship with stakeholders. Perform any other related activity, especially those assigned to the Unit.
