RESEARCH ANALYST (ECONOMICS/BUSINESS) - Candidate must have M. Phil / PhD degree in Economics / Finance from a well-reputed institute - Minimum 5 years of post qualification research experience in economics preferably in a renowned organization - Must have in depth knowledge of Pakistan and regional economies - In depth knowledge of regional economic, trade and financial issues is essential - Clear understanding of Govt. policies, policy making and economic development strategies Clear understanding of international trade regulations and agreements like WTO, SAFTA, MFN status for India etc and its implications for local industry specifically on textile sector Must be able to analyze economic impact of all political actions and design quantitative models and to draw all potential outcomes - Must be able to analyze all technical and economic data and perform statistical studies and develop forecasts for industry - Be able to draw future outlook of economy and its implications for industry. General Requirements - Age 35 - 40 years; - Strong research and analytical skills; - A strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and the ability to work at a fast pace; - Good communication skills in written and spoken English; and - Initiative, drive and creativity to rapidly progress & contribute to the objectives and culture of the company.
