While speaking on the obituary reference, M Y Tarigami said that the democratic institutions like legislative assembly are losing credibility by every passing day. “People laugh on us when we announce investigations in any incident of killing.” Tarigami demanded a separate discussion on every issue which concerns people and the assembly. He paid tributes to the people killed in Shopian, Markundal, Kishtwar and Jammu division.
