Hi, Im Les Hartman and Im addicted to music...lol. Im gonna share this with ya because I just feel like it...you see, theres not anything that will make me cry tears of joy more often than music. Im a sucker...I cant help it and I cant stop it. I dont want to. You see, music brings me joy...music moves my soul. Theres not one single thing that brings me greater joy than music. Please notice I said thing...I dont want you thinkin Im discounting the PEOPLE I love...lol...just wanna make that perfectly clear! The thing part is true though...no object, activity or task brings me more happiness and moments of joy. Clearly, Im not alone in my feelings. Just look at a few of the bystander faces in this clip...smiles, lots and lots of smiles. BE SURE AND WATCH THE VIDEO...its GREAT!! I watch, and listen, to things like this and I turn to a pile of mush...its that simple. Every time I hear a French Horn in a piece, Im drawn in even further...I dont have any other explanation for it other than Im just so into it I cant help it. Its funny, when I think about it, I realize that Im not around music ALL the time. I dont HAVE to have it playing. In fact, when I drive, I dont even have the radio on most of the time. But, when I do, Im so into the structure, the arrangement, the instrumentation...all that stuff. I cant just listen to a song and say Hey, I like that! without picking it completely apart...but in a good way...I rarely hear things I dont like. Okay, some music I just cant get into...Im not gonna lie. But, you can pretty much bet, if it has horns or strings or woodwinds...Im gonna be gettin into it...lol. Yes, I write and sing. I, primarily, write and sing country music...like the real stuff, not the stuff you hear on Top 40 country radio these days. Not every one is gonna like what I do and I dont expect em to. I write what I feel...period. If I dont do that, then how can I really say I write from my heart?...that the music means something to me. I cant unless I write what I feel. It may never be a hit song...but then again... So, there ya have it. A little moment that I felt like I had to share with you...something that maybe you would have never guessed. Dont ya feel lucky?... :) Thank you...and now...back to your regularly scheduled scrolling...AFTER you watch the video ;)
