St. Josephs Hospital is proud to be a part of Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach. Each quarter, the hospital sends supplies to Mission Outreach in Springfield, Ill., that can no longer be used in the hospital. Recently, St. Josephs Hospital sent its Occupational Health van to Mission Outreach. The van was no longer up to strict hospital standards, but it still had life in it and could be used elsewhere. Instead of trying to sell the van, St. Josephs Hospital donated it, and it was sent to Guatamala to help with health care in that region.
