St. Vincent Movie Review: 8/10 Consistently hilarious, emotionally heartwarming and wonderfully entertaining this movie is a through and through excellent comedy that features across the board great performances by its entire cast and tells a story that is not only very funny but actually has real heart to it that is a surprisingly refreshing delight. Leading the cast is Bill Murray who delivers his best performances in ages that is equally grouchy and lovable with a never ending supply of gut busting laughs that always land the way you want them to. As well the rest of the cast including Melissa McCarthy, Naomi Watts and newcomer Jaeden Lieberher are all perfect in their respective roles that nicely balance out with Murray and give the whole movie a really good honest sensibility that is engaging and relatable. The story of the movie is also really well put together by staying away from the overwrought cliches and instead always makes sure to stay true to its intentions and keep everything in believable territory. From beginning to end this movie is just a wonderful experience that hits all of its notes just right and leaves with a really nice feeling of enjoyment and sore cheeks from laughing so much.
