Stacey Foster sent this photo of a cellar spider. They look kind of like daddy longlegs, but while daddy longlegs arent actually spiders, cellar spiders are. Like other spiders, this guy isnt aggressive. Stacey mentioned that it seemed more aggressive than other spiders shes found, but they have tiny eyes, and more likely it just wanted to run and hide, without seeing very well where to go. These spiders hide when threatened. Bites are unlikely, but even if one occurs, they arent dangerous to humans. They can, however, take down brown recluse spiders and other potentially harmful arthropods.
