Stacy and Melody have been friends since junior high school, they are both 22 years old and live in Eugene Oregon. They share an apartment about 6 blocks from the University. Stacey works at Rudy’s Men’s Club and Stacy at a Dutch Bros. coffee shop. They both work close enough to walk home. It was a Thursday and both the girls got off at 5:00PM and walked home. Stacey got home first and changed her cloths, took some chicken out of the refrigerator, thru some red potatoes in a pot to boil and got some broccoli ready to steam. Melody got home and walked into the kitchen, said “hello. What’s for dinner”? Stacy say’s “I got it started. You watch it I am going to take a shower”. Melody says,” Can I join you we could save water”? Stacy says” real funny” and heads for the shower. When she came out she was wearing a pair of shorts, an Oregon Duck T shirt and her hair was wrapped in a towel. Melody says” my turn, the chicken is in the oven”. They sat at the table, talked about work. Melody asks,” you meet any guys today”? No, what about you? Stacy say’s “the same guy I work with is always smiling at me and looking at my body. Melody say’s” that’s a good sign”. Yea, I would like more than that. Melody say’s “you better find somebody soon, you’re not getting any younger. Stacy says,” Quit, I am only 22, not exactly an old maid. They cleared the table, grabbed a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses and went to the living room and sat on the couch. Stacey asks “what kind of music you want to hear”. Melody say’s “something soft”. They sat there for a couple of hours talking about old boy friends, what they wanted in a man and the future. Stacy say’s” I am so glad I have you for a friend”. Melody say’s, “you’re the best friend anybody could have”. Melody say’s lets go to bed. Stacey say’s “great idea”, I am sleeping in. Melody says,” good idea”. Stacy is awakened in the night, she sits up and listens. It sounds to her like somebody is trying to get in the front door .She open’s the night stand and takes out her 38 special. She walks down the hall to Melody’s room and sits down on the bed, puts her hand on Melody’s shoulder. Melody wakes up and sees Stacy with her finger across her mouth and then points to her ear. Melody listens and gets up and walks to her dresser and removes her 9mm Glock pistol. They walk to the front room, Stacy walks into the kitchen and stands behind the snack bar while Melody stands in the hallway. The door opens and because of the outside lights they can see a man’s silhouette. He walks in and closes the door and removes a mask from his jacket and puts in on. He then removes something from his pocket. Melody didn’t wait to find out what it was. She opened fire with Stacy following suit. They both continued to fire knocking the man backwards into the door and then to the ground. Stacy looks at Melody and says, “I guess were not sleeping in”. 2nd Amendment works – No Trial – No Prison – No Appeal
