Stand Firm And You Will See The Deliverance Of The Lord!!! Shalom Brothers and Sisters, we are living in a world today that is full of terror, violence and destruction, and so much more!!! Are you afraid? Do you fear for what is going on? Or, do you put your trust in the Lord? If you are a servant of the Lord, a Believer in the Lord and His works and Word…then you will have no fear!!! Stand Firm And You Will See The Deliverance Of The Lord!!! In the passage from the Word of God/Yahweh in Exodus 14:13-14 it says; “Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”” The Lord, in Exodus chapter 14, is directing the people of Israel exactly where to go… From the military point of view, Israel had blundered badly, or at least that is what Pharaoh thought. God/Yahweh was leading them and He had a plan and purpose for taking this particular route. If we, as Believers, make plans on our own, they are destined for failure… But if God/Yahweh makes them they are a guaranteed success!!! To Pharaoh, it looked like they had Israel exactly where they wanted them, and they were going to follow Israel to the desert and he thought they would take care of business. When you don’t listen to what God/Yahweh says to do, then your hearts will become hardened to God/Yahweh’s plan in a situation. Pharaoh was in a constant state of rebellion to the Word of God/Yahweh!!! Pharaoh’s continued rebellion was going to fall out to the Glory of God/Yahweh!!! If God/Yahweh’s people truly follow the Lord, whatever Satan does, will fall out to the Glory of God/Yahweh, but only if God/Yahweh’s people fully trust and obey!!! In Exodus 14:5 tells us; “When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, “What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!”” Satan does not easily give up his attempts to hold Believers in bondage. If the Believer does not give up on God/Yahweh, I mean to have a faith that is with God/Yahweh in all things that are possible, total and complete victory is guaranteed!!! We read in Romans 6:14 where it says; “For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.” Going back to Exodus 14:6-7 we see there it says; “So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him. He took six hundred of the best chariots, along with all the other chariots of Egypt, with officers over all of them.” Josephus records that Pharaoh had 50,000 horsemen, and another 200,000 horsemen as well as all the chariots.Even after God/Yahweh had warned Pharaoh that before all of the plagues on Egypt happened, that he would lose his firstborn son if he did not listen… we see in Exodus 4:23 it reads; “And I told you, “Let my son go, so he may worship me.” But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.”” Let’s now look at what is written in Exodus 14:9-10; “The Egyptians—all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, horsemen and troops—pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon. As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord.” Verses 10-12 are a record of all the complaints of Israel, the fear, unbelief, and anger of the very people who had witnessed God/Yahweh’s wonders in the land of Egypt. After you have been on a mountain it is easy to tumble back to the valley… Remember what was written in the passage today from Exodus 14:13-14; “Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”” From this statement, we learn what a preacher is supposed to preach; “Do not be afraid!” That has always been the Word of the Lord; with God/Yahweh on our side, and us looking wholly to Him we have nothing to fear!!! In 2 Timothy 1:7 we read; “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” The people were to stand still, all attempts to help must end, all activities of the flesh must cease… Our faith has to rest on Christ/Yeshua as our deliverer… They were to stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord, which He was going to show them that day… Victory is yours today, if you will only put YOUR faith in Jesus/Yeshua as your help!!! Exodus 14:14 tells us; “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” The Lord could fight for Israel as long as they did what He told them to do… Had they turned to fight the Egyptians, they would have failed because of disobedience… In 1 Kings 19:11-12 we read; “The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.” God/Yahweh does not always work the way we think He should… Maybe it is time; we stand still and let God/Yahweh do the work for us!!! Isaiah 40:31 reads; “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Deliverance was on its way, the Red Sea parted for the children of Israel and when the Egyptians went to follow they were killed… They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength!!! Isaiah 30:18 says; “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” Maybe today you fear to trust God/Yahweh!!! Has He ever failed you? Maybe it is time to just put our hands up and surrender to God/Yahweh’s plan!!! In Psalm 4:3-4 we read; “Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.” Selah!!! Are we Godly? Are we properly following Jesus/Yeshua the way we should? David knew that God/Yahweh would hear him when he cried and so should we!!! According to David in Psalm verse 4 they were to stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still… We need to stand in awe and sin not!!! We have to learn to be still and let God/Yahweh, be God/Yahweh of our lives!!! The Lord will lead and fight the battles for us if we only learn to let Him lead and be still… Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still!!! (Example): There was a dream on record from a Pastor, it went like this: “Jesus/Yeshua leads me through a dark building. I dreamt I was in the dark building. A guy who had a gun was leading me. I didn’t have one. I knew this was some kind of game, but then again I knew that it wasn’t… I knew it was serious. The guy whom I was with kept seeing the enemy. I didn’t, He would shoot him… Not one time did these enemies shoot back… The guy whom I was with was good… I now see a dark figure standing in a room. I was pretty far away. The closer we got, the more I could see him. I was wondering why he wasn’t firing at us… Then I realized it was because whom I was with! The dark figure now gets shot… He was doubled over… I knew that I had won!!!” In 2 Chronicles 32:7-8 it tells us; ““Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.” I Do Not Fear Because Of Whom I Serve!!! Do you fear today? We read in Isaiah 54:17 where it tells us; “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.” Also in Isaiah 55:11 we see it says; “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Standing still and letting Jesus/Yeshua lead the way is what we need to do… We need to stay strong and courageous and not give up because the battle is not ours, but it is His because we are His property!!! God/Yahweh will show us exactly where to go, but we need to stand upon His Word and let Him be in total charge… He is a speaking God/Yahweh who will speak to us if we learn to listen!!! Remember Psalm 4:3-4 where the Word told us; “Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.” Selah!!! Are you Godly? Then God/Yahweh has set us apart for Himself!!! Don’t ever give up because just like David the battle is not ours… It is God/Yahweh’s, if we stay faithful to Him!!! Isaiah 55:7-11 ends the message today, by telling us; “Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” So are you ready to: Stand Firm And You Will See The Deliverance Of The Lord!!! Stand and lift your hands to Heaven and speak to the Lord, He hears and will answer you always!!!
