Stand your ground has come under attack recently because in our society the ability to defend yourself has become unpopular. I will say unequivocally that if you hurt me or my family and I believe that it is life or limb threatening, you will die. If you don’t like that then you had better spend all of your time making sure no one attacks me. That person will die, I will kill them, and it is my right to do so because that person lost the right to exist the moment they tried to hurt or kill me or my family. Those who think that the ability to fight back against miscreants that would do us harm is a problem, will not see it fixed. Even if it is illegal to defend myself I will do so. I imagine I am not alone. While groups spend millions to take away my right to defend myself no one in Chicago is safe, and no one is doing a single thing to stop it. We are supposed to just understand that minority communities in the major cities are crime ridden and feel sorry for them. If they hate it so much, do something about it. If you want black teenagers to stop dying, make it stop. 98% of black murders are committed by black people. It is not time for more gun laws; it is time for enforcement of existing gun laws. It is not time to blame white people it is time to reinforce the family. Because, until young men start taking responsibility for their actions and responsibility for their children these problems will only get worse. -Erudio
