Start of the day blessings and confessions: Praying for our nation! Father we lift up our nation today. We pray for those who are in authority and places of influence in this land. We ask that they be people of discernment, understanding ,knowledge and that they will know The Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour. We ask that every hidden agenda and plan to weaken and destroy this nation by people of influence and authority would be exposed and dealt with quickly. We pray that there will be a righteous revolution in this nation. A righteous revolution that will shake the evil places and destroy the ungodly laws and policies. We pray that the church would rise from the midst of the culture of entertainment and compromise and once again flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit in such a way that millions would be soundly converted and filled with the Holy Spirit. We pray for the righteous to triumph and that there would be great glory and celebration before The Lord. We pray for the restoration of good to be called good and evil and perversion to be called evil and perverted. May there be an unquenchable hunger and thirst for the presence of Jesus. When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding, and knowledge, its stability will long continue. When the [uncompromisingly] righteous triumph, there is great glory and celebration; but when the wicked rise [to power], men hide themselves. (Proverbs 28:2, 12 AMP) FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way. For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth. For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:1-5 AMP)
