Start of the day blessings and confessions: Time to take a stand! Father there are many things we are facing, and it is time for us to take a stand and stop giving up ground to the enemy. Let us be as determined as Eleazar that stood in the midst of a patch of beans and refused to let the enemy have another inch of ground. Even though this was only a patch of beans he decided no more and took a stand and The Lord gave a great victory. Father we pray we will not miss the places where we need to just draw the line and say no more devil. Let us not over look even the small bean patches in our life that we need to defend. May we be determined, resolute, prepared and steadfast in our stands. Holy Spirit help us pray the perfect will of the Father. Help us see every place we have given ground over to the enemy and take that ground back today in Jesus name. He was with David at Pas-dammim [where David had long before slain Goliath], and there the Philistines were gathered for battle, where there was a plot of ground full of barley or lentils; Land the men [of Israel] fled before the Philistines. And Eleazar [one of the Three] stood in the midst of that plot and defended it and slew the Philistines [until his hand was weary, and his hand cleaved to the sword], and the Lord saved by a great victory and deliverance.
