Started going through more teaching boxes today. Pushed back the feeling of devastation. Each folder of prepared assignments, notes, rubrics represents late nights, followed by days falling asleep in the afternoon when i should have been with my own kids. The profession has given me so much joy, but also taken greedily from my family. I look forward to stability as soon as next year. I still have a few years to be a mom. Please God... High school and jr high stuff is gone. I have chosen my path, as much as it has been chosen for me. Deep breaths.
