Started off this Monday waking with my insulin pump infusion site not working and high blood sugar, to trying to explain to the opthamologists office why I needed a refill of antibiotic eyedrops (Nate gave me his nasty pink eye), the doctors tech denying the refill saying I needed to come in for a cataract removal 6 month check-up, the appointment setter asking me if next month would work...HELL NO, I have PINK EYE! So she squeezed me in 40 min later, I was tested for viral or bacterial pink eye, knowing that it was bacterial and Id already cured the left eye with my leftover eyedrops from the cataract surgery and was just trying to get a freaking refill, and finally told I was right to have started the drops last week when I did and needed to continue them for another week. Given a new prescription for same drops, which could have been done by just not denying it in the first place when Walgreens called for authorization. $104 later, I have my DAMNED eye drops on time, didnt miss a dose. Two new infusion sites later, because I accidentally YANKED the new one from this morning out, Im finally squared away. Hey, did someone say its Monday?????
