Starting a new discussion thread: proving Gods existence is possible by reason and reason alone. What can be said about God is limited, but His existence can be argued (proven) by reason alone, with no faith/religious assumptions. Brandon Katz, Carlos Fiol, Rodolfo Alexandro, Dimos Zarkadas, and your friends all are welcome. Bring your atheist and theist friends, the more the merrier. Please stay on topic. If a significant issue outside of the scope of this thread arises in the discussion, we can start another thread. For starters, I claim that one can prove that God exists, without making any religious assumptions, by reason alone. To narrow the focus, lets discuss the claim that if Universe had a beginning (didnt ALWAYS exist), known as coming to existence ex nihilo (out of nothing), that necessitates existence of ex-nhilator or creator, whom we conveniently call God. God is outside of the Universe, He is not material nor subject to time or space. I believe this is similar or perhaps identical to the Kalam Cosmological argument. Please stay on topic and do your best in offering a rational discussion without resorting to personal attacks or quips. Ill do my best to follow that rule as well. A suggested, but not required, reading is below.
