Starting today: One month without sugar/carbs (with exception to berries & green apples...both contain very low sugars). Day One: Brkfast- green apple sprinkled with cinnamon dipped in peanut butter and almond milk. Lunch- cucumber/tom salad drizzled with olive oil and balsamic over a bed of alfalfa sprouts. Dinner plans- homemade turkey burger with Italian fresh cheese and a side of cucumbers marinated in Greek yogurt with seasonings mixed in (a more protein rich version of sour cream cucumbers...tastes just the same). My goal is to detox from sugars for a month and then reintroduce only whole grain complex carbs back into my diet (no more white junk). I do not underestimate my sweet tooth, so please pray for me this month! I welcome any and all encouragement/advice. :)
