Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24, 2013, the Community Health Nursing office located in the Town Council Building in Heart’s Delight will be closed to the public due to a scheduled water shut down by the Town of Heart’s Delight. All on-site appointments scheduled for September 24, 2013 have been cancelled and rescheduled. Clients who have home visits booked for September 24, 2013 will be seen by their health care provider. The Community Health Nursing office located in the Town Council Building provides a variety of Public Health and Community Care services, including, but are not limited to, prenatal classes, child health clinics, preschool health checks, ambulatory clinics, IV therapy, wound care and palliative end of life services. Services will return to normal operations on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Eastern Health apologizes for any inconvenience this disruption may cause.
