State Rep. Darlene Senger (R-Naperville) is sponsoring a free seminar for female veterans at 7 p.m. Monday, June 9, at the Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873, 908 W. Jackson Ave., Naperville. The seminar will discuss a range of services and resources administered by various federal, state and local agencies in addition to local nonprofit organizations serving women veterans. “The specific needs of our women veterans are too often overlooked,” Senger said. “Our workshop brings together a comprehensive range of public and nonprofit agencies that help connect our female veterans with the benefits they have earned but may not know they are entitled to. ”
