Statement from Rev.Raymond Brown candidate for US Senate: I feel sad when I see poverty and violence just destroying black communities across the nation, at the same time we face racist cops shooting unarmed black men just because they are black. I know that some people blamed black leaders for not doing their part to uplift their own people I must agree with that assertion, but we pay our taxes with no representation on the state or national level. We decided that we wouldnt be the white man slaves anymore so the white man decided to stop hiring us instead hire illegal immigrants at slave wages dust punishing us for nothing. The white man created high un-employment in black communities knowing that poverty cause people to act violently. I condemn these acts of violence against blacks and Hispanics. My great great grandfather Exnicio Sanchez is a white man from Barcelona spain, I am not proud of my white Ancestors they should be ashamed of themselves for allowing their people to be oppressed by their own relatives. White folks controlled the economy dust controlled the banks too. So they have alot of power. But we have the power of God on our side that why we stand. I want to thank our young people for fighting back these oppressive forces in Ferguson, Missouri I am proud of you black man and black woman and Malcolm X and Dr. King, would be very proud of you. They call you outsiders I call you freedom fighters. Yours truly Rev. Brown.
