Statement on Redistricting - Last week, the Ky General Assembly passed a redistricting bill for all 100 House seats and 38 Senate seats. I voted against the bill because it drastically changes the 61st District. The district loses Owen and Gallatin Counties and picks up southern Kenton County, northern Scott County and half a precinct in Boone County. While I look forward to meeting and representing the citizens of those parts of Boone, Kenton, and Scott Counties, it is a sad goodbye to Owen and Gallatin Counties. While I may not be the representative on paper for those counties, I will still be your voice in Frankfort. Call me anytime 859-816-7084. Owen County has picked up a great advocate for farming and rural communities in their new representative in Rep. Ryan Quarles (Georgetown).
