Status Update By Sharon C. Bryant Calling ALL CLASSMATES OF 1979 NBHS Class of 1979 35th Year Class Reunion Thirty-five years ago we walked across the stage to receive our diplomas. Where has the time gone? Mark your calendar for August 8th through August 10th 2014! You don’t want to miss this weekend, as we will have an awesome opportunity to celebrate our 35th class reunion and reconnect with friends of the past! Schedule of Events: August 8th 2014, 7:00pm-10:30pm: Meet and Greet at Christ Church, 311 Middle Street, New Bern 28560. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided. August 9th 2014: Dinner / Dance at the Banquet Room located next to The Flame Restaurant. Our classmate, James “Smoke” Boyd has graciously agreed to cater this event through his restaurant, The Flame. Cocktails will be served from 6:30-8:00pm with a buffet from 8:00-9:00pm. This event will continue from 9-12 midnight with a DJ providing 70’s dance music. August 10th, 2014: Church Service at “Without Limits Christian Center,” 2111 E. Neuse Boulevard (church of classmate Denise Harris-Powell). The cost for the weekend is $50 for an individual and $95 for a couple.
