Statutory delegates made up of Enugu State officials, state and local government executives of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, converged at Okpara Square venue for accreditation of the delegates for the state governorship primary election. Many of the government officials loyal to Governor Sullivan Chime were directed to converge at Okpara square, Enugu close to the Government House for accreditation scheduled to commence at 8am but by 12 noon the exercise has not began. The delegates were busy exchanging pleasantries and loitering around waiting for the panel members but none could be seen by press time and nothing has officially taken place.
