Stay with me on this because theres a method to my madness, or writing, or testimony, if thats what you want to call it. I have chosen to work day shift and deliver in the city this week because of the Holiday Week! Like most couples, Linda and I sat and of course, watched Family Feud. There was an elderly Doctor on there and it gave cause for Linda to bring up our favorite Dr. ,and Im not making this up, but his name was Doc Martin! Dr. Donald Martin who lived and had his office in Salem, Ind. I loved Dr. Martin because he was an old fashioned, country Dr. He wouldnt do anything until you answered this one question! He asked it every time without fail! What do you think is wrong with you? He wrote a book and the title is, Thats why I ask! I know, because I read it! I asked him why he used that title, and he said Theres a reason why they call it PRACTICE MEDICINE! We know nothing other than what The Lord Jesus Christ, The Great Physician, shows us, other than that Brian, we just practice! Oh how I wish that all the Physicians of this world felt and believed this way! Dr. Martin died about 10 yrs ago. He never ordered one test on me in all the years I went to him. He didnt have to! You see, theres a reason why hed ask you what you thought was wrong with you. He knew that if you were feeling bad enough to come see him, you had already been to the library or on the internet and looked up all your symptoms and had probably already found your ailment! You had already done his work for you! He was full of Love for people, and full of wisdom from The Lord Jesus Christ Himself! We need more Doc Martins in this world! Both in the everyday work a day world, and in Washington D.C., God Bless You Dr. Martin! R.I.P. my friend! You are greatly missed!
