Staying on the topic of dance - way over in Saigon - there was a lot of orphans - adoptions in the first wave & the lil girl in the photograph below - came on second wave out of the American war In Vietnam. On average minimum time was a year for the paper work for the adoption process to take place amidst the Vietnam war. This photograph below was sent to the prospective new family in England - & the second eldest daughter said that her new sister - due to the way the lil orphan girl stood, looked like a ballerina. Why is this photograph included in The Jesus Movement ? The answer is simple - the lil girl despite her body was so weak & malnourished, pop belly legs that was so bowed & so weak - from famine of war in her home country - that it is actually a miracle she lived & many others too & many did die because of starvation. ... Jesus heals & this in itself is a long story. Yet this is an introduction how God used the arts to heal his children that are & were wounded on so many levels. A portion of this girls story is that - the nurses actually had to fatten her up to just survive the long journey going through five Air Ports from Saigon ONE WAY to Gatwick Airport England 1972 16th June. Isn;t it interesting the stamp in the her Veitnamese Passport ha the slogon of the Jesus Movement ONE WAY & this lil girl had no idea she was heading to Jesus - Movement ! where she would learn One Way to Jesus!
