Staying true to the concepts of promoting local products and re-use, we are we are putting Aquilo to work as our first sailing cargo vessel. She is a 1936, 32-foot, Ralph Winslow-designed cutter. She was built here in Michigan and has been owned and maintained by a local boat builder for many years....and now we are so pleased to own her ! Herreshoff influences show through in her lines, the butterfly hatch, and her sweeping sheer. Her towering spruce mast and 22-foot-long boom make her a joy to sail and a handful in a freshening breeze. We love that our boat has local ties and we are so proud of her beautiful craftsmanship. We are excited about our 2015 season. We have two new announcements coming up soon!!!!
