Stella Ambler and I just finished up our visit to the newly rehabilitated Don McLean Westacres Outdoor Pool, in Mississauga South. Also through the Fund, the City of Mississauga received an investment of $990,000 toward total project costs of more than $4 million. The funding was used to improve and replace several components of the outdoor pool, including the pool tank and filtration system. This project also included the redevelopment of the pool building, and the creation of additional change rooms and public space.
