Stellenbosch University Learning and Teaching Contact and Client Services Contact Centre Agent (Ref. REG/028/0114) Apply online at sun.ac.za/english/careers In order to strengthen our client centric culture, Stellenbosch University is seeking to appoint a Contact Centre Agent to its call centre. The Contact Centre Agent will be responsible for a number of tasks, including the handling of queries from internal stakeholders (students and staff) as well as external stakeholders. Duties: Responding to telephonic, e-mailed and faxed queries; logging all contacts as required; routing escalated queries; performing administrative tasks relevant to call centre duties; doing follow-ups; reporting; performing ad hoc duties as required. Requirements: A three-year tertiary qualification; at least two years previous Call Centre/Customer Service experience; exceptional communicative skills; above average fluency in both Afrikaans and English; a strong customer service ethic; a high level of computer proficiency; an analytical and detail-orientated approach; ability to co-operate within a team; adaptability; a focus on quality. Recommendation: Knowledge of a third South African language.
