Steve Harvey Mentoring Campaign: Become A Mentor in Newark The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation has partnered with the Open Society Foundation’s Campaign for Black Male Achievement. The goal of this partnership is to support the creation of strong healthy male relationships for 100,000 African American boys by the end of 2013 and to help shift the image/perception of black men and boys, inside and outside of the African American community. To do this we will be utilizing our local partnerships with our radio affiliate stations, churches, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, The “Mentoring Brothers” Campaign, and Mentoring USA, to produce lively and energetic events that at times will stand alone in each market, however when available will be an addition to a local event that fits the campaigns over all goals and objectives.
