Steve Holmes, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and - TopicsExpress

Steve Holmes, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and former graduate of Sunnyside, has accepted a position with Tucson Unified School District as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction K-12. Steve came to Sunnyside from TUSD in 2009. During his time here, he has been instrumental in aligning the digital curriculum with state standards and most recently with common core. His work with ELL was a critical during a time when the state requirements moved to a 4-hour model for English instruction. We will miss Mr. Holmes but we wish him well in his new position.
